So I went back through my incredibly deep and extensive archives to try and find out whether or not I had posted about the dumb bunnies, a paticularly influential children’s book for me. It turns out I had, clearly, because it was important to me. It makes me wonder about my present self, I mean clearly I should’ve been able to assume this information confidently. Oh well.
So I decided to try and find another book from my youth. In 7th/8th grade I kind of got into fantasy books, but not really. I read nearly two series by David Eddings (author of the above pictured novel). They were pretty awesome and inspired me to read the Lord of the Rings books, and then I stopped reading fantasy books. I can’t remember presently if there was a point to this. Um…I told my friend about David Eddings’ books and he got totally into fantasy shit. No that wasn’t it. I apologize for the stream of consciousness, kind of. Anyway in middle school (which i suppose was actually kind of high school for me? weird) I was kind of into fantasy books like this, and I wrote a lame story about evil rabbits in my 7th grade journal. I have it if you want to see it.
editor’s note: I originally wrote bumb bunnies instead of dumb bunnies, I think this is funny.
